    The Ord High School volleyball team hosted their annual tournament on Sept. 19, 2026. Teams that participated were: Ord, Ansley-Litchfield, Amherst, GICC, Hershey and West Holt. The Chants first came up against Ansley-Litchfield, winning the match 25-17, 25-18. They then took on GICC, which proved to be a tougher match with the Chants coming out on top 2-1 with scores of 25-22, 17-25 and 25-21.     The Ord Chanticleer football team continued their undefeated start to the season Friday night, traveling to Lincoln and coming away with a convincing 40-7 victory over the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors. The win improves Ord to 4-0 on the season. Ord came out fast, scoring 21 points in the opening quarter. Jordan Williams got the scoring started with a 62-yard touchdown run.     The Ord Chanticleers continued their strong start to the season Friday night, improving to 3-0 with a 41-6 home victory over the Valentine Badgers.     The Ord Chanticleers impressively opened the 2026 football season Friday night, defeating Central City 47-20 at home. Ord got off to a fast start, taking a 13-0 first-quarter lead behind touchdown runs from Beau Wells and Jordan Williams.     We are creating successful momentum with some early wins! These wins are raising our confidence and developing positivity among our team. We finished the week with a record of 3-4.
