Popcorn County USA Named Finalist in 'Coolest Thing Made in Nebraska' Competition

North Loup's own Popcorn County USA is officially in the running for the title of "Coolest Thing Made in Nebraska."

The local popcorn company has been selected as one of 16 finalists in the fifth annual statewide competition, which celebrates Nebraska manufacturers and the products they create.

Now, Popcorn County USA needs the support of Nebraskans as voting gets underway.

The first round of the bracket-style competition is open through 11:59 p.m. Sun., Oct. 4, with additional rounds continuing throughout October. Nebraskans are invited to vote for their favorite product each week.
